Reatha Ann Williams (Stacy)

She was born in Troy, New York July 7, 1951. She was the daughter of the late Nicholas Stacy and Doris Perry Stacy who survives. Reatha graduated from Averill Park High School and later attended the Putnam Memorial Hospital Nursing Program where she graduated as an LPN.
She married David Williams on April 10, 1971.
Reatha was active in her church, Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Pownal. After the closing of the church, she attended Sacred Heart Saint Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Bennington. She cantored many masses at both parishes.
Reatha enjoyed crafting such as quilting, jewelry making, weaving and she most recently took up painting. She was extremely artistic and even started a few small businesses that sold her creations. She loved cooking for family and friends. She had a fondness for all of her animals through the years (horses, dogs, cats, birds, goats) but she had a special place in heart for her miniature donkeys.
Survivors include her husband David Williams of Pownal, VT. Her children, Stacy Williams (Steve Wandrei) of Cheshire, MA, Alicia Williams (James Senecal) of Adams, MA and David Williams (Kristy) of Bennington, VT. Three grandchildren, Gabe Williams and Chase Wandrei of Cheshire, MA and Morgan Foisy of Adams, MA; a brother Nicholas Stacy along with two sister-in-laws and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her brother, Andy Stacy.
The funeral will be held from the Mahar and Son Funeral Home on Friday August 13, 2021 with a prayer and 10:30 a.m. and then from Sacred Heart Saint Francis de Sales Church at 11:00 a.m. where the Liturgy of Christian Death and burial will be offered.
The burial will follow in the family lot at Park Lawn Cemetery in Bennington.
Friends may call at the Mahar and Son Funeral Home on Thursday August 12, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
