Raymond Floyd Gabert

January 21, 1960 — June 9, 2022

SUNDERLAND- Raymond Floyd Gabert, 62, a resident of Sunderland Hill Road in Sunderland, Vermont, passed away peacefully on June 9th, 2022 following a long illness.

Born January 21, 1960 in Townsend, Vermont, he was the son of the late Raymond and Annie (Richards) Gabert.

Raymond was a Tree man and was self-employed. He enjoyed his work very much. Raymond was also a veteran of the United States Army. He loved fishing and pony pulls with his horses. Most importantly, Raymond enjoyed spending time with his kids, grandkids, and brothers.

Raymond is survived by his Girlfriend of nearly 25 years; Becky Strieber, his mother, Annie Hale, his Sons; Christopher Violette, and Raymond Gabert Jr. siblings; Kenneth, Scott Mark, Rachel and Billy Gabert and Charles and Maggie Hale and His four grandchildren; Dakota, Kali, Bam, and Brian. Raymond is also survived by a caregiver and special friend; Michelle Violette.

There will be a celebration of Raymond's life held at a later date to be announced by the family.
