John Edward Rockwell, Jr.

John Edward Rockwell, Jr. 64, of Bennington, VT passed away peacefully at his home on October 22, 2022. John was born in Bennington on March 31, 1958. He married the former Mary Lee Moon on September 16, 1993. John was a very caring man who was always willing to help out family members or friends in any way he was able to. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting with his son Chris as well as with other family and friends. John also enjoyed working on engines, an activity he also enjoyed with his son Chris. John is survived by his wife, Mary Lassor, of Bennington; his son Christopher J. Lassor of Bellows Falls, VT and a daughter Tara Sue Lassor of Albuquerque, NM. He is also survived by his sister, Patty Smith of Bennington, VT, his brothers, Andy Rockwell of Bennington, VT and Carl Rockwell of Brandon, Vt; his grandchildren, Junior, Kimberly and Cory Thompson 6 great grandchildren and a special nephew, Raymond Smith.
