Gloria Bismore Warren

July 5, 1931 — May 24, 2022

Mrs. Gloria T. Bismore Warren, 90, a resident of Homestead Mews in North Bennington, Vermont, died on May 24, 2022.

She was born in Hanover, PA on July 5, 1931. She was the daughter of the late Clair A. And Averill C. (Stahl) Neauman. She received her education and was a graduate of St. Joseph's Academy in McSherrystown, PA.

In earlier years Gloria was employed at the Lighthouse Inn in Dennis, MA, where she worked as the manager of the gift shop. Gloria later spent her summers living at the Grafton Inn and wintered in Naples, Florida.

Mrs. Warren was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in North Bennington. Gloria was a member and did volunteer work for the National Organization of Retarded People. She enjoyed making ceramics, reading and embroidering.

Survivors include four children, Leroy W. Warren, Jr. and his wife Barbara of Columbia, SC., Alayne F. Strausbaugh and her husband Donald of Gettysburgh, PA, Lynn Warren and his wife Sharon of Kennebunk, ME, and Lee-Ann Warren of Pownal, VT. A granddaughter, Yulinka Warren. A sister, Deborah Hockensmith of Hanover, PA; nieces, nephews and cousins.

There will be no calling or funeral services.

The burial will take place in the family lot in the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Cemetery in McSherrystown, PA.
