Edward M. Loveland

May 20, 1939 — February 19, 2021

Edward M. Loveland, 81, of Bennington, Vermont went home to the Lord on February 19, 2021 following a long illness.

Edward was born in Shaftsbury, Vermont on May 20, 1939, the son of Fred (Skip) Loveland and Bessie (Bump) Loveland.

Ed spent most of his life being an auto mechanic, working for Wm. E. Dailey for over 25 years, Pradon's Garage, Merrill Transport and finally retiring from the Carthusian Foundation, Sunderland, Vermont.

Ed had a great sense of humor, enjoyed working outside, but mostly he loved working on vehicles of all kinds.

Ed is survived by his wife, Sandra Hewson-Loveland, daughters, Eddilyn Loveland of Bennington, Dianne Martelle (Lonny) Longe of Hoosick Falls, NY, brother Marvin (Barb) Loveland of Bennington and sister MaryLou (Jack) Dury of Georgia; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

At the request of Mr. Loveland, there will be no calling hours and no funeral.
