Darlene Mary Davis

Darlene Marie Davis, 70, a resident of Bennington, VT died Monday, November 7, 2022. She was home and surrounded by her family. Darlene was born in Bennington, VT on October 15, 1952. She was the daughter of the late Harold and Mary (Reginbald) Flanders. Darlene completed her education in Bennington and was a graduate of Mount Anthony Union High School. She married Milton “Pete” Davis on May 14, 1983. For several years Darlene had been employed at Nastech in Bennington. She enjoyed riding the Harley Softail with her husband and friends. She also enjoyed sleepovers and dance parties with her grandchildren when she wasn't bringing them to see Santa or to dinner and a show. In her later years, she traveled the world and returned to manicure her charming yard. She just loved the neighbor's pool and listening to music in the sunroom with friends. Darlene's survivors include her husband, Milton “Pete” Davis of Bennington, her brother Daniel Flanders (Nancy) of Bennington, and a son Willie Hurley (Stacey) of Wilmington, VT. Her grandsons, Lincoln, Daltyn, and Oliver Hurley spent so many sun-filled afternoons with her in the yard. In her heart, Darlene kept several nieces, nephews and cousins along with many, many friends. She was predeceased by a son, Jeremiah Hurley, and her brother David Flanders. At Darlene’s request there will be no calling hours or funeral services. Her interment will take place at White Chapel Cemetery. If friends desire, contributions in memory of Darlene M.
