Zachary Joseph Beaudoin, 46, a resident of Bennington, Vermont, passed away peacefully on August 9th, 2024, at Albany Medical Center in Albany, New York, following a brief and unexpected illness. Zach was born on August 7th, 1978, in Bennington, Vermont, the son of Jacques and Mary (Petras) Beaudoin. He was raised in Bennington and received his early education there, graduating with the class of 1996 from Mount Anthony Union High School. Throughout his life, Zach worked in various fields,as a younger man he did home inspections across Vermont and the surrounding areas. He also contributed to his family’s business, Beaudoin and Sons Paving Company, in Bennington. Most recently, he owned and operated The Tree Biz LLC, specializing in all phases of tree care. Zach enjoyed hunting and riding motorcycles, and in his earlier years, he was active in baseball, basketball, and soccer. Above all, his children were the center of his life. Known for his humor and friendliness, Zach will be deeply missed by his many friends and family. Zach is survived by his parents, Jacques and Mary Beaudoin; his fiancée, Naomi Watson; his children, Meya Beaudoin, and Zendyn, Zadee, and Zyla Beaudoin; and his stepchildren, Rileigh Ware and Nori Watson. He is also survived by his sisters, Elizabeth “Libby” Beaudoin (Mark Rancourt) and Jennifer Nelson (Gary), and his nieces and nephews, Ellie, Easton, Emma, and Ensley Nelson. Additionally, Zach leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents; his aunts, Carol Beaudoin and Cheryl Petras; and his niece, Amel Beaudoin. In accordance with Zach’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral services. The family plans to have a celebration of life to honor Zach and Amel at a later date, to be announced by the family. Contributions in Zach’s memory may be made directly to the Second Chance Animal Shelter in Arlington, Vermont.
