Yvonne C. King Carsno, 85, peacefully passed away at the Southwestern Vermont medical Center in Bennington on Tuesday October 2, 2023. Born in East Arlington, VT on November 30, 1937, to Joseph and Ruth Lampron, Yvonne, as a Catholic, received her early education at the Sacred Heart School in Bennington, VT. Working in the Bennington region, Yvonne held several different specialties for Tansitor Electronics, Union Carbide and finally retiring at the Energizer Eveready Plant. Yvonne enjoyed spending family time with her 7 siblings. As an adult she listened to country music and traveled throughout the U.S. and Germany. She is survived by her brothers; Marvin Lampron of Bennington, VT, Victor (Michelle) Lampron of Arlington, VT, and her children; Walter (Dawn) King of Stafford, VA, Dennis (Donna) King of Eagle Bridge, NY, and Tim (Mona) King of Oroville, CA, Kimberley (Andrew) Sampsell of Bennington, VT. Yvonne is also survived by her second husband, Roy Jordan, eleven grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her first husband, Walter King, her third husband, Francis Carsno and her siblings; Edward Gaudette, Richard Gaudette, Alice Duncan, Phyllis Livingston and Janet Clayton. Friends may call at the Mahar Funeral Home on Friday October 6, 2023, from 1:00 pm until 2:00 PM. Funeral services will commence at 2:00 PM from the Mahar Funeral Home in Bennington. Burial will follow in Park Lawn Cemetery. Following the services a Celebration of Life social will be held from 4-7 PM at the American Legion Post 13 in Bennington. Donations or contributions in Yvonne’s memory may be made to St. Judes Childrens Hospital at 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN.
