Wanda Lee Sherman (Tyrell)

Wanda Lee Sherman, age 66, a resident of White Creek, died on Saturday, August 25, 2018, at the Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, M.A.

She was born in Bennington, VT on July 28, 1952, and was the daughter of the late Vernon J. and Theresa (Vallee) Tyrell. She received her education in local schools.

Over the years, Wanda had been employed at Nichols Clothing Store in Bennington, for twenty-five years, where she ran the Juvenile Department, and later for Doctors Keith Edwards, and Judy Orton and retired from Advanced Eyecare in Bennington.

She is survived by the love of her life, John Sherman, and one daughter; Marie Lee Sherman. Wanda leaves one sister-in-law, Joanne Gauthier of Bennington, three nieces, one nephew and cousins.

Services will be private held by her family.

The Mahar and Son Funeral Home in Bennington is assisting the family at this time.
