Timothy J. Fox Sr., 70, a former resident of Bennington, VT and Hudson Falls, NY and more recently of Hoosick Falls, NY died Thursday September 30, 2021 at the Centers for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Hoosick Falls following a long illness.
He was born in Bennington, VT November 17, 1950. He was the son of the late Joseph and Alice (LaPointe) Fox. He received his education in Bennington. Tim later served in the Army National Guard.
He married the former Ann Farnum in 1979 in Bennington.
Tim was a chef. He was famous for his clam chowder. Tim loved to cook big meals for his family and friends. He worked at several area restaurants over his career. Prior to his retirement, he was the food and beverage manager at the Killington Ski area and worked at Moguls Sports Bar at Killington. In earlier years Tim worked as a press foreman at the Glens Falls Post Star.
Survivors include his wife, Ann Fox of Hudson Falls, NY, his daughter, Kimberly Allen, her husband David, and their child Owen of Lyme, NH, and a son, Timothy J. Fox Jr. and his girlfriend Shannon Stoddard of Arlington, VT. Tim also leaves two brothers, Michael Fox (Therese) of Anchorage, AK and Shawn Fox (Diane) of Middle Village, NY, and two sisters, Patricia Nagle of Cambridge, NY and Jean Sausville of Bennington, VT, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. Tim was predeceased by his parents and two siblings, James Fox and Judith Lanfair.
There will be no calling hours or funeral services.
A celebration of Tim's life will be held at the Willow Park Pavilion in Bennington on Sunday October 10, 2021 at 1pm.
