Thomas C. Sausville

He was born in Bennington, VT July 10, 1942. He was the son of the late Charles and Dorothy (Hurlburt) Sausville. Tom received his education in Bennington and was a graduate of Bennington High School. Following high school Tom served his country in the United States Army.
For many years Tom worked as a dental ceramist. He made dental crowns and bridges for many dentists throughout the area.
Tom loved the outdoors, he was passionate about hunting, fishing, primitive camping, kayaking and skiing. Tom was an avid sky diver. He also enjoyed the hobby of fixing antique clocks and in his later years took great enjoyment spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his four children, James O. Sausville (Erika) of Cropseyville, NY, John C. Sausville (Stacy) of Cropseyville, NY, Matthew J. Sausville (Emily) of Balston Lake, NY and Lynn M. Sausville of Fairfield, IA. Four grandchildren, Charles, Ryan, Laurel and Vivian Sausville. A brother Paul J. Sausville of Ballston Spa, NY and a sister Patricia Edmondson of Orleans, MA. Along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may call at the Mahar and Son Funeral Home on Friday August 6, 2021 from noon until 2:00 p.m.
A graveside service with military honors will follow at the family lot at Park Lawn Cemetery on Friday at 2:30 pm.
