Terry C. Toomey

Terry C. Toomey, 70 a resident of Harwood Hill in Bennington, VT died Friday January 28, 2022 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Bennington, VT.

He was born in Bennington, VT May 12, 1951. He was the son of the late Charles and Kathleen (Cullen) Toomey. Terry was a graduate of Mount Anthony Union High School and later graduated from Hudson Valley Community College. He lived in Bennington most of his life and was a self-employed mechanic known to many as an honest, talented, hard working and caring member of the community.

Survivors include two brothers, Timothy Toomey of Costa Rica and Brian Toomey of Bennington, two sisters, Ellen Mueller of Ormond Beach, FL, and Nora Jepson of Newport News, Virginia, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by a sister, Kathleen "Katie" Hull of Bennington. There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held in the spring at a time to be announced.
