Terry L. O'Brien, 67, a resident of East Mountain Trailer Park in Bennington died peacefully on Friday, August 27, 2021 at her home following a long illness.

Terry was born in Bennington on December 12, 1953, the daughter of the late Marshall and Beatrice (Phillips) O'Brien. She received her education in the Bennington schools and was a graduate of Mt. Anthony Union High School.

Terry was employed at the former Globe Union plant in Bennington for many years. She enjoyed woodworking and had completely remodeled the inside of her home prior to her illness.

Survivors include her significant other, Joanne D. George of Bennington; two step-children, Carol Ann O'Brien of Pennsylvania and Will O'Brien of Arizona; two step-grandchildren, Marshall and Killian O'Brien; a brother and sister, Brad and Cathy O'Brien, both of Bennington. Terry was predeceased by a brother, Wayne Phillips.

A Celebration of Life for Terry will be held on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. on the lawn at her home. All of her friends are invited and everyone is asked to bring their favorite dish.
