Teresa J. Shelp (Sardina)

January 14, 1933 — February 2, 2016

Teresa J. Shelp, 83, widow of Russell L Shelp, a former resident of Hoosick Falls, NY, died Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at Bennington Health and Rehab following a long illness.

Born in Buffalo, NY January 14, 1933 she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Biaggia (Bova) Sardina. She received her education in the Buffalo schools.

She enjoyed bingo, playing cards and especially time spent with her grandchildren.

Survivors include a daughter, Tina Stifter and Gary Reed of Bennington; six grandchildren, Rich, Jessica, Gregory and Melissa Stifter of Bennington and Ashley and Joseph Shelp of Buffalo; six great-grandchildren, Rich Jr., Russell, Kaydnn, Sean, Michael and Nevaeh; two sisters, Jo and Lena, both of Buffalo and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Teresa was predeceased by a son, Russell J. Shelp.

Memorial services celebrating the life of Teresa Shelp will be held in Buffalo New York.
