She was born in Bennington, VT January 1, 1958. She was the daughter of Gary and Patricia (Knapp) Houran. Tammy received her education in Bennington and was a graduate of Mount Anthony Union High School in 1976.
She married Robert S. Bourn November 25, 1979 in Bennington.
Tammy enjoyed day trips in the car, movies and she had a passion for music. She had a special love for her family and friends.
Survivors include her husband Robert S. Bourn of Shaftsbury, VT, a daughter Susan Senecal and her husband Ted of Hoosick Falls, NY. A step daughter Tammy Bushika and husband Dale Bushika of Seneca, South Carolina. Five grandchildren, Bradley and Ryan Senecal of Hoosick Falls and Kera McGlothen (husband, Robert McGlothen) and Samantha ( Finance, Phil Colins) and Dylan Bushika of South Carolina; Four great grandchildren, Cale, Grady, Cohen and Addilynn; Her parents, Gary and Patricia Houran of Bennington, VT. Her brothers and sisters, Kathy Houran of Bennington, Gary Houran and his wife Robin of Pownal, Ann Houran of Portland, Oregon, Joe Houran and his wife Tina of Pownal, VT and John Houran of Pownal, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins; A very close friend Susan Martell and husband, Skip Martell of Eagle Bridge, NY; Pre-deceased brother, James Houran and two grandchildren.
A celebration of Tammy's life will be held at Elks Lodge on 9/25/2016 from 4pm-8pm.
