BENNINGTON-
Tafana Rae Sousis, 29, a resident of Bennington, Vermont passed away on September 26th, 2022 at the University of Vermont Medical Center in South Burlington, Vermont. She was born in Bennington on August 11th, 1993 to Stacy J. Sousis and Eva Lake.
Tafana grew up in Bennington and graduated from Mount Anthony Union High School with high honors, in the Class of 2012. She was employed at the WCW carpet warehouse in Manchester, VT and Maplefields in Manchester, VT.
Tafana was very creative and artistic. She loved to sing and enjoyed reading and writing. Her greatest accomplishments in life were her two children whom she loved dearly. Tafana was very well loved.
Tafana is survived by her mother, Eva Lake (Richard Pecor III) and her siblings: Alexis Pecor, Brittany Pecor, Aiden Pecor, Makaela Cummings, Areanna Cummings and Brianna Labonte, and step brothers, Richard Pecor IV and Logan Pecor. Tafana is also survived by her husband, James Angelides, and her two children, Staci James Angelides and Kaia Rae Angelides. Her grandmother, Alice Farrell, grandfather, Myron Lake Sr., and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She also leaves behind her close friend, Danielle Martin and her godson, Nathaniel Martin.
Tafana is predeceased by her father, Stacy J. Sousis, her grandparents, Betty Sousis and Whitey Sousis, an aunt, Tracy Phillips Lake, an uncle Harland "Gil" Sousis, and a cousin, Jordan Sousis.
A celebration of Tafana's life will be held at the convenience of the family.
