Suzanna Marie Groesbeck, age 55, a resident of Bennington, died on Monday, August 5, 2019 at Albany Medical following a brief illness.
She was born in Cambridge, NY on December 3, 1963 and was the daughter of the late William and Helen (Stratton) Groesbeck. She received her education in local schools. She enjoyed kayaking, birdwatching, loved doing puzzles with the grandchildren, and spending time outdoors and camping.
She is survived by her daughters, Amanda (JR) Semilla of Hawaii, and Rebecca Grosebeck (Jon Washburn) of Pownal. She leaves five grandchildren: Mackenzie Russell, Leeanna Russell, Jeremiah Semilla, Maleah Semilla, and Laylah Semilla.
She is survived by two brothers: William (Judy) Groesbeck, and Herbert (Denise) Groesbeck and two sisters: Helen (Jerry) McKrittick and Geraldine (Gary) Ross. She leaves several nieces, nephews, great nieces and grand nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday morning, at 11:00AM at the West Hebron United Presbyterian Church, 3153 Cty RT 30, West Hebron, NY and the interment will take place in White Chapel Cemetery in Bennington at 2:00 PM.
