BENNINGTON- Steven Alan Sweet, 36, a resident of Park Street in Bennington, Vermont, passed away unexpectedly at his residence, on Saturday October 17th, 2021.
Born on October 16th, 1985, at Rutland Regional Medical Center. He was the son of Ms. Ellen Blodgett. Steven attended the Bennington area schools. He enjoyed listening to music, playing video games and he appreciated art, even doing his own drawings.
Steven is survived by his two daughters Alexis of Connecticut and Lillith of Bennington; his mother, Ellen Blodgett and his step-father, Michael Starkey Sr. He is also survived by a sister; Diana Secoy and her husband Chad, of Mt. Tabor, Vermont; their children, Kelsey, Alexis, and Zack. As well as his step-siblings; Mike Jr., Troy, Dave, and Sheena Starkey.
Steven is predeceased by his grandmother, Beatrice Ellen Lawrence and his uncle Roy Blodgett.
At the request of the family, there will be no services held at this time. However, the family plans to have a Celebration of Life at a later date.
Contributions in memory of Steven may be made towards his funeral expenses through the office of the Mahar and Son Funeral Home.
