Stephanie Anne Currie, 52 of Bennington, VT, passed away at her home on February15, 2025. She was born in Oakland, CA on December 12, 1972, the daughter of Jeffrey and Ellen (Childs) Currie.

Stephanie was a Direct Support professional with United Counseling Service in Bennington for several years. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was by far her sons’ biggest supporter and attended every football, baseball and softball game they were in.

Stephanie is survived by her children; Chandler Collette of Acton, ME, Dale Collette, Jr., of Bennington, VT and Patrick Collette Sr., of Bennington, her grandchildren; Robert Collette, William Bracy, Patrick Collette Jr., Priscilla Bracy and Jenna Sky Collette, her partner, Dale Collette Sr., of Bennington, VT, her parents; Jeffrey and Ellen Currie of Baltimore, VT,, her maternal grandmother, Priscilla Childs, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Stephanie was predeceased by a grandson, Dane Bracy, Jr., her grandparents, Robert Childs, James D. Currie and Phyllis J. Legac, her step-grandfather, Paul Legac, her uncle, Robert Childs Jr. and her partner’s father, Daniel Collette.

Services for Stephanie will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
