Silvia A Boulger

She was born in Halle-Salle, Germany on October 24th, 1948. She was the daughter of the late Woldemar Guttmann and Charlotte Guttmann. Silvia received her education in Pittsfield, MA and was a graduate of Pittsfield High School.
She Married John A Boulger on December 12th 1970 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Pittsfield, MA.
For 20 years Silvia had been employed at sprague electric in North Adams in the finance department. She worked for Bijur in Bennington for a few years as an account payables clerk. She was Employed at the Vermont Veterans Home as an account payables clerk for over 25 years.
Silvia was a humble servant. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church for most of her life. She served as treasurer at the church for many years. She was fiercely dedicated, loving, and always put others first. She was consistently sending cards to people, always thankful, never forgetting birthdays, or anniversaries. Silvia was known for her fabulous baking and loved doing it for others. She made beautiful cakes for birthdays, baked often for her family and friends, and was always in the kitchen. She made multiple German dinners for the church's fundraisers and an immeasurable amount of cookies for the bake sales, always with a smile. Her whole life was devoted to serving her family, friends and her church. She was an excellent example to all.
Survivors include her children: John A. Boulger Jr., Shawn Boulger and his wife Heather of Wallingford, VT, Brian Boulger and his wife Emily of Haverhill, MA, Daniel Boulger and his wife Victoria of Wells, ME and Jason Boulger of Pownal, VT., her nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was also survived by her brother Werner Guttmann and his wife Judith, a sister-in-law Eunice Boulger and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by husband John Boulger and her son James Boulger.
A service to celebrate the life of Silvia A Boulger will be held on Sunday, June 27th at 2:00pm at the Zion Lutheran Church in Pittsfield, MA. The service will be livestream through the church.
