Shirley Marie King

Shirley Marie King, 68 of Sunderland, VT, passed away at her home on September 4, 2024. Shirley was born in Bennington, VT on August 10, 1956, the daughter of Seth and Florence Shirley (Barbeau) King. She received her education in Bennington. In her earlier years she was an assistant manager of a Hess gas station in Florida. Shirley is survived by her son, Joseph King of Barre, VT, a daughter, Elizabeth King of Bennington, VT, her sisters; Darlene Novotny of Sunderland, VT, Nancy Barber of Bennington, VT and Florence King of Bennington, VT, her 2 brothers; Seth King and Thomas King, both of Bennington, 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She was predeceased by a daughter, Toni Childress. At the family's request there will be no formal services.
