Sharla Lee Brown

The lovely Sharla Lee Brown left this world, Friday January 13th in the early morning at the age of 74. Sharla was born on October 29th, 1948, to Merle Harvey and Grace Stewart. She was held dear by so many people in her life. She touched everyone she met with her bright loving soul. Sharla had so many friends and family, they meant everything to her. You bet she could always light up a room with her smile and loud infectious laugh. She had a huge love for her Pomeranians and her husband of 55 years. She enjoyed camping and spending as much time as possible with her friends and family. Sharla also had a huge love for car shows Lake George in particular was one of her favorites. Her grandkids and great grandkids were her biggest joy. She is predeceased by her parents Grace and Merle and her stepparents Alfred and Mary, her brother David Buell. She is survived by her husband Louis Brown and her brothers Alfred “Biff” Buell, Arthur “Bing” Buell (Gail), Willard Buell, Anthony “Tony” Buell (Kassie), Terry Buell (Cheryl), Robin Buell and Chris Harvey (Bernice). Her children Joseph Brown (Jeanna Brown), Albert Brown (Donna Brown), and Mary Hurley. Her grandchildren Anthony Squires, Brittany Davis, LeEssa Brown, Caulista Brown, Andrea Hughes, Wesley Hurley, Kendra, Alyssa, Jon Ruggles, Eddie Hurley, Dylan Blowers, Joseph Smith and Alonzo Smith. As well as her great grandkids Ashlynn, Jonathan, Carson, Keanna, Xavier, Zoeriah, Evan, Abel, Zakearyn, Zaphearie, William, Lincoln, Legend, Ryett, Jason and Elisa. And many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends may call at the Mahar and Son Funeral Home 628 Main Street Bennington, VT on Monday January 16 from 4-6 PM. Immediately following the calling hours a Celebration of Life will take place at the Bennington Rural Fire House 276 Orchard Road in Bennington from 6-8 PM.
