Sandra K. Kelley, of South Londonderry, VT passed away peacefully on February 5, 2023, her 78th birthday, surrounded by her children and her sister. Sandy was born on February 5, 1945 in Nashua, NH, the daughter of the late Everett and Maxine Chapman. Sandy spent her childhood growing up in New Hampshire and spending summers at Lake Winnipesaukee. She then went on some great adventures with her late sister Gayle and eventually made her way to Vermont. Vermont is where she met the love of her life James Wesley Kelley. She married James Wesley Kelley who passed away on July 7, 1984 which was too soon. She lived in the Bondville/S.Londonderry area for over 50 years. Sandy worked at many places in the area. When her children were young, she worked at the River Cafe in Bondville for many years. She and her children then moved to South Londonderry, where she worked at the IGA for almost 25 years. A lot of people knew Sandy from this job. She was loved by many people and formed many special bonds and long lines waiting in Sandy’s check-out line just to see her. She was a life force, raising two children on her own and keeping a smile on her face. She will be very missed and never forgotten. Sandra is survived by her children and their spouses, Alexia Kelley Sherwood of Weston, VT married to Brian Sherwood and Wesley James Kelley of Pittsburgh, PA married to Megan Kelley. Her grandchildren who she loved dearly, Grace Sherwood, Mia Sherwood, Liam Sherwood, Jameson Kelley and Judson Kelley. Her brothers; Bruce Chapman, Brian Chapman and Billy Chapman, her sister; Josie Laskowski. She was pre-deceased by her 2 sisters Nancy and Gayle. Graveside services for Sandra will be held at Bondville Cemetery on Saturday, May 20th, 2023 at 10:00 am.
