Sandra J. Clawson, age 74 a resident of Bennington, VT died on Sunday, October 20, 2019. She was born in Bennington on September 17, 1945, and was the daughter of the late Frank W. and Hazel B. (Becker) Quackenbush. She is predeceased by her husband, Jeffrey H. Clawson, who died in 1991. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, gardening and growing flowers. But most of all she loved her cats.
Sandra is survived by her children; Tonya L. Robinson of Bennington, Robert W. (Nancy) Robinson of Missouri and Lisa J. Robinson of Bennington. She leaves her grandchildren: Payton J. Agresta, Adam H. Agresta, Rachel Martinez, Alexandrea Robinson, and Haley Robinson. She has one half-sister, Nancy B. Burgess, and one half brother, Clark H. Green, III. Sandra has two special nieces; Kathy Carpenter and Karin (Andrew) Hurley, and her great niece and nephews: Jesse, Cole and Scott. She is predeceased by one sister, Joan E. Carpenter. At Sandra's request there will not be any services. She would like memorial contributions to be made to the West Mountain Animal Hospital Emergency Fund through the Mahar and Son Funeral Home. in Bennington.
