SANDRA BEDDIE OBITUARY
BENNINGTON, VERMONT
Sandra Elizabeth Beddie, age 62, a resident of Jefferson Heights in Bennington, died at her home on Friday morning. November 16, following a brief illness.
She was born in Bennington on June 30, 1956 and was the daughter of the late Richard Long and the former Elizabeth Sedgwick who survives. She received her education in Bennington Schools. She has a B. A. Degree in Accounting. On February 13, 1982, she married Paul Beddie. They have been married for thirty-six years.
Sandra has been employed at Hemmings Motor News for forty-four years. She was currently working in the Circulation Fulfilment along with the Distribution Office. Sandra was a huge NASCAR fan, and an avid fan of Dale Earnhardt, Jr. She enjoyed traveling, country line dancing, shopping, gardening, and was a Red Hatter. Sandra loved and cherished her grandson, and how happy it made her to have him on Thursday nights. She was a big lover of cats.
Survivors besides her husband and her mother, include: one son Ryan Beddie and his companion Stephenie of Bennington, one daughter Kaitlyn Beddie of Bennington, and one grandson; Greyson Beddie. She leaves two brothers: Chris Long and Michael (Sheila) Long, all of Bennington. Sandra is survived by several brothes-in-law Brian Beddie of St. Johnsbury, VT, William Beddie of New Hampshire, Phillip Cliché of Lyndonville, VT and Robert Cliché of New Hampshire. She is survived by two sisters-in-law: Diane Florence of Lyndonville, V and Linda Ozzidi Ombe of New Jersey.
Funeral services will be held at the Mahar and Son Funeral Home on Tuesday morning, November 20, at 10:30AM. Following the services, the family will be receiving friends at the funeral home until 12:00PM. Interment will take privately.
