Sally was born in Glens Falls, NY on September 2, 1956, the daughter of Joseph Martin and Mae Ely.
Sally was a sweet, caring person and as a devoted mother, she worked at various jobs, her last being at Byron's Village market in Schuylerville, NY. Sally was resourceful and did what she had to in order to put food on the table and take care of her children. Sally, a socialite had many friends and loved to be surrounded with people that loved her most. Most will remember Sally during her "quick" visits would often turn into an hour-long chat with someone she bumped into.
Sally loved all of us and as a big hearted mother, sister and friend loved loving and to be in love.
Sally was predeceased by her parents, Joseph Martin and Mae Ely. She is survived by her daughter, Michelle Lynn Carreon of Prescott Valley, AZ, her son, Roger Eugene Bourn, Jr. of Bennington, VT, her step-children, Diane Bristol and Tina Okosky both of Schuylerville, NY, her sisters, Vickie Martin of Spencer, MA, Rose Russell of Rutland, MA, Diane of Wells, VT, her brother, Joe Martin, of Springfield, VT, her step-grandchildren, Sabrina and Brooke Bristol and Jeremiah, Emma and Wyatt Okosky and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Memorial Service for Sally will be held on Saturday August 13, 2022 at 2:00 PM at the E.P. Mahar and Son Funeral Home 628 Main Street Bennington, VT. Jason Floyd, Minister of the Bennington Church of Christ, will officiate.
