Rose Mary Brady (Brady)

Rose Mary Brady 54, a resident of Rocky Lane, Bennington, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2020 at home.

Born in Brooklyn, NY September 5, 1965, she was the daughter of the late Martin Brady Sr. and Mary (McLee) Brady.
Rose received her education in the Bennington schools and was a 1984 graduate of Mt. Anthony Union High School.

A registered nurse, Rose received her nursing education at Southern Vermont College. Over the years she was employed at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center and several local nursing homes including the Vermont Veterans Home where she worked for over 10 years.

Rose was especially dedicated to her grandson, Xaidan Abrey Barrett who was her most precious treasure.

Survivors in addition to Xaidan include her daughter Marybeth Barrett; Rose's fiancé, Gregory Squires and his children, Sara Squires, Katherine Squires and Reno Jarvis, all of Bennington; three sisters, Maryellen Longton (James) of Millsboro, DE, Margaret Brady (Jack) of Bennington, Kathleen Connors (Ken) of Virginia Beach, VA; two brothers David Brady (Vicki) and Peter Brady Sr., both of Bennington and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by four brothers Martin Brady Jr., Patrick Brady, James Brady and her twin, Michael Brady, two nieces, Kristin Berard and Ashley Brady, also her fiances daughter Grace Squires and Marybeth's father Michael Barrett.

Memorial services celebrating the life of Rose Brady will be held from the Mahar & Son Funeral Home on Saturday, January 25, at 12 noon. Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday at 11:00 a. m.

Burial will take place in the family lot in White Chapel Cemetery following the memorial service.

Should friends desire memorial contributions in Rose Brady's memory may be made to the Mahar & Son Funeral Home to help the family with funeral expenses.
