Roger Gene Mears

Roger Gene Mears Sr. 79, a resident of Bennington, Vermont passed away unexpectedly on July 16th, 2024 at his home in Bennington, following a brief illness. Born on March 21st, 1945, in Bennington, Vermont. He was the son of the late Donald H. Mears and Anna B. (Sweet) Mears. On, August 4th, 2010, Roger married the former Brenda Tifft in Rutland, Vermont. Survivors include; His wife of nearly 14 years; Brenda Mears. His Children and their spouses; Roger Mears Jr. (Sandy) and Coleen Gulley (Sam). His stepsons; Duane Mattison (Linda), David Mattison, and Charlie King (Kristen). His 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. His siblings; Helen Hilchey (Steve) and James Mears. Roger is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends. Roger is predeceased by his siblings; Marie Levin Maynard, Donald E. Mears, and Stephen Mears. Following Rogers wishes, there will be no formal funeral services.
