Robert J. Svitak, Jr. age 59 of Bennington, passed away at the home of his parents in Bennington on July 31, 2016.

Bob was born at Putnam Memorial Hospital in Bennington on July 22, 1957. He is survived by his parents Robert and Pauline (McHugh) Svitak, Sr. He is also survived by his siblings: Peggy (Mike) Burke, Ann (Duane) Peacock, and Bill (Angela) Svitak, as well as many nieces and nephews. He leaves one aunt, uncles and several cousins.

Bob is a graduate of Mt. Anthony Union High School and Siena College in 1979.

Bob loved the outdoors, especially whitetail deer season, never missing one, even when he was ill. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be deeply missed by them all.

At Bob's request there will not be any services. Interment will take place privately.
