Robert Kuzawski

Robert Kuzawski, 58, a resident of Pownal, VT died unexpectedly on Monday, April 24, 2023 at his residence. He was born in Watertown, NY September 11, 1964. He was the son of the late Donald and Virginia (Hitchcock) Kuzawski. Bob received his education in Lowville, NY and later transferred to Rutland High School. Roberta (Bourn) Kuzawski became his wife 39 years ago. They shared a beautiful and dedicated life together. In earlier years Bob was employed as a roofer with Iron Horse Roofing. He also worked at UST for 16 years. More than anything, Bob loved to give everything to his children and grandchildren. Whether that meant spending quality time canoeing and fishing with his sons, enthusiastically attending his daughters' and granddaughters' baton recitals, or selflessly ensuring his loved ones ate first and got what they wanted and needed, Bob's love and generosity never faded. Bob showed his love for his family in many other ways, including cooking for the family and attending his children's and grandchildren's sporting events. Bob's happiest memories and personal passions included traveling across the country to play in his softball league, hunting in Colorado and South Carolina with dear friends, golfing and fishing. His family will forever cherish his stories and memories as his love endures even now. Survivors include his wife, Roberta Kuzawski of Pownal. His children, Bobbi Jean Kuzawski (Chevaughn) of Manchester, VT, Joshua Kuzawski (Amy) of Manchester, Justin Kuzawski (Desiree) of Hoosick Falls, NY, Toni Kuzawski (Todd) of Pownal, VT. His stepchildren, Danny Gordan (Michelle) of Pownal, VT, Celisa Gauthier (Larry) of Bennington and Dennis Pratt of South Carolina. His 28 grandchildren, Cody, Austin, Bailey and Dakota; Kaidin and Keana; David, Mayalisa, Savannah, Matthew, Maxwell, Lucas, Marcus, Exavier and Michael; Kendra, Kaila, Kailynn, Karrolinn, Knaudia and D’Angelo; Wyatt and Annabelle; Lilly, Ivy and Noah; Hunter and Remi. His brothers and sisters, Bill Tebidor of Utica, NY, Tom Tebidor of Syracuse, NY; Debbie Sanchez (Martin) of Tuscaloosa, AL; Mike Tebidor of Montana; Pamela Tebidor Burker (Greg) of Lowville, NY; Dave Tebidor (Annie) of Harrison, NY, Tina Lydic of Rutland, VT and Lisa Turney (Charles) of Cape Coral, Florida. He was pre-deceased by a brother, Richard Tebidor and two sisters, Mary Kuzawski and Sally Tebidor_Leidker. Friends may call at the Mahar and Son Funeral Home on Saturday, April 29th from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 pm at the funeral home.
