Robert E. Fowler
September 1, 1916 — September 5, 2016
Born in Pownal, VT, September 1, 1916, he was the son of Loren and Jenny (Hicks) Fowler.
Mr. and Mrs. Fowler were married in Bennington, VT on November 23, 1940. Mrs. Fowler died June 3, 2014. Robert and Marion had two children, Norma Salter and Carl Fowler. They had four grandchildren, Jeffrey and Christopher Kraenzle, Carla Lambert and Lynn Beers.
Robert turned 100 years old on September 1st and invitations went out to family and friends to come celebrate this special occasion. Robert shared this time with 60 friends and relatives over a four-day period. This time turned out to be a true celebration of life. Memories were shared and stories told of the days on the farm. Gratitude was expressed.
These were the people and the memories Robert was able to cherish just before he died. He felt honored and appreciated and loved. The family thanks all of you who participated in this celebration of life.
A brief service will be held for close family. Burial will be at Park Lawn Cemetery.
Robert requested that no flowers be send and no donations made.
