Robert Edward Caron Jr.

Robert Edward Caron Jr., 50, a resident of Lincoln St. in Pownal, VT died Sunday April 3, 2022 in Pownal following a brief illness.

He was born in Bennington, VT February 29, 1972. He was the son
of the late Robert E. Caron and Sharon (LaMere) Caron. BJ received his education in Bennington.

In earlier years BJ worked as a tile layer.

He had a love of animals. His family and children were his main interest. B.J. lived on his own terms and that's how he wanted it to be. He always said "I'm me and I'm never going to change that, I'm BJ"

Survivors include his children, Robert E. Caron III of St. Johnsbury, VT., Madison Metcalfe of Pownal, Bryonna Prew (Austin) of Pownal, MaKenzie Caron of Hoosick Falls, MacKenzie Mentiply of Bennington and Conner Caron of Pownal. A granddaughter, Elena Ferris of Hoosick Falls, NY. His sisters and brothers, Mindy-Jo Harrington of Pownal, Kristy Telford (Patrick) of Ockwala, Florida, Daniel Caron (Linda) of Bennington and Austin McCallister of New Hampshire. Along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call at the Mahar and Son Funeral Home on Thursday April 7, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

A memorial service will be held at the funeral home at 1:00 p.m.

The burial will take place in the family lot at White Chapel Cemetery.
