BENNINGTON
Robert Edim Bolster, 57, a former resident of White Birches Park in Bennington died Monday, July 29, 2019 at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center. For the past four years Bob was a patient at Crescent Manor Care Center.
Born in Bennington on April 22, 1962, he was the son of the late Robert E. and Ella Mae (Avery) Bolster. He was also a foster child to Lester and Mona McDonald from an early age. Bob received his education in Bennington and at the Randolph School for Boys.
For several years prior to his illness Robert had been employed at Walmart in Bennington. He enjoyed watching wrestling, all types of music and was an avid Elvis Presley fan.
Survivors include a sister and brother-in-law, Harriet A. and George Burke of Bennington; a brother and sister-in-law, Harry T. and Cora Bolster of Danby and nieces and nephews Tina Bushee, Karen Bushee, Harry Bolster, Angelica Bolster, Tonya Bartlett, Zabrina Bolster, Peter Bolster, Emmylou Stone, Byron Bolster, Samantha Howard and George Burke Jr. and his foster family.
Robert was predeceased by a sister, Jay Bolster, a brother, Joseph Bolster and a nephew, Dean A. Bushee.
At Robert's request private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
