Robert C Blank

Robert C. Blank, 92, passed away at his residence in Brookdale Fillmore Pond in Bennington, VT on January 16, 2025. Robert was born in Astoria, New York on September 27, 1932, the son of Charles J. and Clara (Vallon) Blank. He was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War.

Robert earned his Master’s Degrees from Pace University in New York City and Georgetown University in Washington D.C. Robert was a professor of History and Politics at State University of New York at Farmingdale and also served as the Department Chairman. He was Chairman of the Board of Phi Theta Kappa, the two year honor society, in the late 60’s and early 70’s.

Robert is survived by his long time friend, Hugh Miller of Dorset, VT and three cousins.

Funeral services for Robert will be held on Saturday February 8, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Saint Peter’s Episcopal Church in Bennington, VT.
