Rita D. Rosso

Rita D. Rosso, 85, a resident of Glastenview Drive in Shaftsbury, VT died Sunday January 15, 2023 at her residence following a long illness. She was born in Torrington, CT January 13, 1938. She was the daughter of the late William Romaniello and Ethel Wilczenski. She received her education in Torrington and was a graduate of Torrington High School. She married Robert J. Rosso on April 27, 1957 in Torrington, CT Rita worked as a bank teller in Torrington and Wilmington, VT. She was a member of Sacred Heart Saint Francis de Sales Church in Bennington. Survivors include her husband, Robert J. Rosso of Shaftsbury. Three sons, Mark Rosso of Woodford, VT, Michael Rosso of Whitingham, VT and Chris Rosso of Bennington. Twelve grandchildren and a sister, Judy Morton of South Carolina along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. At Rita’s request there will be no calling hours or funeral services.
