Richard A. Sylvester

He was born in Claremont, New Hampshire on May 4th, 1964. Richard grew up in Springfield, Vermont and graduated from Springfield High School in the Class of 1984.
He was employed at the Main Attraction and Lulu's where he worked in the kitchen as a chef. Richard was also employed at Garelick Farms.
Richard played basketball and participated in track and field with the Special Olympics for many years. He also loved to go fishing with his son, Jeremiah.
He is survived by his mother, Antoinette (Toni) Gratacos and his son, Jeremiah Sylvester. Richard is also survived by his brothers: Frank (Laura), Scott Gratacos Jr., of New Hampshire, Joe Sylvester, of Springfield, VT, Dennis Sylvester, of Springfield, VT, Michael Sylvester (Theresa), of New Hampshire.
Richard was predeceased by his adopted parents, Mona and Octive Sylvester, step-father Frank Gratacos, a brother, Armound Sylvester, of New Hampshire, and a sister, Patty Sylvester, of New Hampshire.
A memorial service for Richard will be held on October 1st, 2022 at the Beech Court Community Room in Bennington, VT at 2:00pm.
