Richard Roy Rumboldt

Richard Roy Rumboldt Jr., 56, a resident of Morgan St. in Bennington died Friday May 20, 2016 at his residence following a long illness.

He was born in Burlington, VT June 6, 1959. He was the son of the late Richard Roy Rumboldt Sr. and Frances (Campbell) Rumboldt. He received his education in Burlington.

In earlier years Richard worked in construction. He also worked at McDonalds in Bennington where her worked doing maintenance. He had also been employed at Vermont Bag & Film and Mace both in Bennington.

While living in Hubbardton Vermont, Richard enjoyed ice fishing. He also enjoyed camping and playing cards, especially Poker.

Survivors include his companion of over 30 years, Suzanna Marie Groesbeck of Bennington. A son Jeremy Rumboldt of Texas and many friends.

A graveside committal service will take place at the family lot at the Woodford Cemetery on Thursday May 26, at 11.00 a.m. with Pastor Linda Lebert officiating.
