Rachel Schumacher

November 26, 1940 — October 6, 2021

Rachel Schumacher, 80, of North Bennington passed away on October 6, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family. She leaves behind her immediate family; a son, Mark Schumacher and his wife Maureen; a daughter, Karen Schumacher and her children, Claudia and Julianna; a son Doug Schumacher and his wife Sharon, and their children, Maddison, Emma and Jack; as well as many extended family members.
Rachel enjoyed a successful career as Sr. VP for Tansitor Electronics for over thirty years. She has a long history of state and local community service, too numerous to mention.
Her favorite pastimes were reading, gardening, traveling, gourmet cooking, and entertaining family and friends with her beloved husband, David Monks, who recently passed.
Following the family's private funeral service there will be a public reception to celebrate Rachel and David's lives at the Park-McCullough House Carriage Barn on Saturday, November 13th, from 12pm to 3pm.
