Peter Warren Pendlebury

Peter W. Pendlebury, 67, of North Bennington, VT, passed away on November 27, 2023, at his home following a long illness. Peter was born in Troy, NY, on September 21, 1956, the son of George and Margaret (Hurley) Pendlebury. Peter was a do-it-all kind of person. He worked as a mechanic, a painter and several other occupations. He loved to build and race drag trucks. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Peter was a firefighter with the North Bennington Fire Department for 25 years. Peter is survived by his three sons, Jeremiah Pendlebury of N. Bennington, VT, Christopher Pendlebury of Arlington, VT and Brady Pendlebury of N. Bennington, VT; his siblings, David Pendlebury, Margaret Pendlebury and Robbie Pendlebury. He was predeceased by his brother, Charles Pendlebury, and a sister, Louie Pendlebury. Friends may call at the Mahar Funeral Home on Friday, December 22, 2023, from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM.
