Pearl L. LaClair, 92, a former resident of Bennington, VT and more recently of Rutland died Thursday February 8, 2018 at the Rutland Health Care and Rehabilitation Center following a long illness.
She was born in Bennington, VT January 6, 1926. She was the daughter of the late Dwight and Kate (Kelly) Leonard. She received her education in Bennington and was a graduate of Bennington High School.
She married Wayne LaClair.
In earlier years Pearl worked as a housekeeper and a Nanny.
Her home and cats were her main interest.
Survivors include a son and daughter in law, Wayne and Kim LaClair of Rutland along with three grandchildren, several great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a son, Richard Baker, her husband Wayne LaClair, two sisters, Mildred Hassom and Isabelle Mould and two brothers, Dwight and Truman Leonard.
There will be no calling hours.
A memorial service to celebrate Pearl's life will be held at the Mahar and Son Funeral Home in Bennington on Saturday February 24, 2018 at 11:00 a.m with Rev. Robin Greene officiating.
