BENNINGTON
Pauline Dockum Morse, 94, a resident of North Branch Street, died peacefully on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at her home.
Born in Bennington on July 6, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Delia (Devenow) Dockum.. Pauline received her education in the Bennington Schools.
Pauline and Ken were married on July 6, 1941. Mr. Morse died May 20, 2002.
For many years Ken and Pauline owned and operated both the Morse Mobile Home Park and Ken's Marine on North Branch Street.
Pauline's home and family were her greatest interest.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Virginia and Jamie Gonzalez of Phippsburg, Maine and Anita and Timothy Ordway of Bennington; a daughter-in-law, Karen Morse of Hoosick, NY; eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Pauline was predeceased by a son, Kennon E. Morse, Jr.; a sister, Virginia McLaughlin and two brothers, Thomas Dockum and Harold "Hud" Dockum Jr.
Private services will take place at the convenience of the family.
Burial will take place in the family lot in White Chapel Cemetery.
