Paul E. Jewett Jr.

Born on October 17th, 1938 in Bennington. He was the son of the late Elizabeth (Noteman) and Paul Jewett Sr. Paul was raised in Bennington and graduated from Bennington High School with the class of 1957. Shortly after graduation, he served in the United States Army reserves for six months.
As a teenager, Paul began working for Grand Union in Bennington as a Stock Clerk. Over the years, he continued with the company and later became the stores manager. Altogether, Paul dedicated nearly 40 years to Grand Union.
In October of 1974, Paul married the love of his life; the former Deborah Watson. Over the years they became inseparable, and enjoyed spending time together no matter the activity. They especially enjoyed travelling across the United States and many destinations in Europe. They had even made it to Africa, but enjoyed their trips to Switzerland the most.
He enjoyed camping, boating, and snowmobiling. Paul was a meticulous handyman that could fix anything. This led to a kind of hobby, working for the Zenith Electronics Shop in Bennington as a TV repairman. He was also an avid gardener and occasionally a diligent housekeeper.
Paul is survived by the love of his life Deborah Jewett. he is also survived by his many children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his two sisters.

Following in Paul's wishes the funeral services will be private for the family.
If friends should desire, contributions in memory of paul may be made to the American Parkinson Disease Association or to the Resident Activities Fund at Bennington Health and Rehabilitation.
