Patricia A. Parizo

Patricia Parizo, 82 of Bennington, VT, passed away peacefully on Saturday February 10, 2024, at the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center. Patricia was born on June 13, 1941, in Whitehall, New York, the daughter of David Rodd and Dorothy (Senecal) Generous. She was the youngest of three children, she was predeceased by both her brother Joseph Rodd, of Whitehall NY and her Sister Shirley Rodd (Greenwood) of Whitehall NY. She married Donald A. Parizo Sr. on November 23, 1957, in Bennington, VT. Patricia was known for her affection for, and the love of all animals. She enjoyed knitting, Crocheting, baking, reading, listening to books on tape, Walking with her husband Don and spending time with her family. Patricia is survived by her husband of 66 years, Donald A. Parizo Sr. of Bennington, VT, two sons; Donald A. (Pamela) Parizo, Jr., of Rutland, VT, and Robert (Barbara) Parizo of Suffolk, VA, her grandchildren; Amanda Parizo of Ogden Utah, Jacqueline Maisonet (Heriberto) of San Juan Puerto Rico, and Emilee Parizo of Exton, PA and 3 great grandchildren Jackson Barber, Isabella, and Liam Maisonet. Nieces and Nephews. Services for Patricia will be held on April 13, 2024, at 10:30, at the Mahar Funeral Home 628 Main Street in Bennington. A burial will follow at Park Lawn Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Second Chance Animal Center in Arlington, VT.
