Patricia M. Mallory, 92, longtime resident of Shaftsbury, Vermont – passed away on February 24, 2025.

Patricia was born in Bennington, Vermont on May 24, 1932. She was the daughter of the late Gideon Paul and Margaret (Hogan) Gagne. She received her education in Bennington and was a 1950 graduate of Bennington High School.

She married James M. Mallory on June 26, 1954 at Saint Francis de Sales Church in Bennington.

In earlier years, Patricia was employed at Sprague Electric and later at the Beneficial Finance Company. She had also worked at several retail stores as a sales clerk.

She was a loving mother and grandmother. Her family was her main interest.

Survivors include a son, Glenn Mallory (Louise) of Bennington. Two daughters, Tamara Capriola of Shaftsbury, and Jamea Lundy (Peter) of North Carolina. Five grandchildren: Krislyn, Kamryn, and Charles Capriola, and Matthew and James Lundy. Two great-grandchildren: Garrett and Lucas Capriola. As well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Patricia was predeceased by her husband, James M. Mallory, and three sisters and a brother.

At Mrs. Mallory’s request, there will be no calling hours or funeral services. Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
