Patricia Ann Lipscomb

November 29, 1932 — February 1, 2021

Patricia Ann Lipscomb, age 88, a resident of West Main Street, Bennington, Vermont died on Monday February 1, 2021 at home following a long illness.

She was born in North Bennington on November 29, 1932 and was the daughter of the late William E. and Margret K. (Clark) Bull. She received her education in local schools. She married Charles A. Lipscomb on February 18, 1950, at the First Baptist Church in Bennington. Mr. Lipscomb has just died on January 23, 2021.

Patricia enjoyed walking, cooking, and fishing. She enjoyed listening to music, and playing ball with her devoted dog Tyler. Her and Charles enjoyed taking long rides and seeing the sights.

She was a former member of H.E.L.P, Weight Loss Group.

Patricia is survived by three sons: William G. Lipscomb of North Pownal, Vermont, Jamie L. Lipscomb of North Pownal, Vermont and Todd M. Lipscomb of Bennington.

Besides her husband, she is predeceased by her siblings: William Bull, Beverley Volkmer and Patrick Bull.

At Patricia's request, there will not be any calling hours or funeral services. Burial will take place in the family lot in Oak Hill Cemetery in Pownal, Vermont at the convenience of the family.

Her family would like to acknowledge the staff of the VNA and Hospice of Southern Vermont, especially nurse Emily and Patricia's daughter-in-law, Kathi.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Second Chance Animal Shelter through the Mahar and Son Funeral Home in Bennington.
