Patricia Jo Cummings

Patricia Jo Cummings, 64, of Bennington, VT, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2024, after a courageous battle with health issues. Patricia was born on June 23, 1959, in Troy, NY to JoAnn (Benkoski) and Philip Cummings, and was truly a heart of compassion. Known for her fun-loving spirit and as a great mother, sister, and friend, Patricia touched the lives of everyone she met with her warmth, generosity, and infectious laughter. Her memory will be kept alive through her children: Brandy Krawczyk (O’Brien) and her husband, Neil, of Pownal, VT; and Michael LaRoche and his husband, Joe Johnson, of Cheshire, MA. She cherished the moments she spent with her grandchildren, Linsey Krawczyk, and Kate and Noah Johnson. Patricia’s spirit is also carried forward by her siblings, who shared in the journey of her life: Phillip (Pat) Cummings, of Bennington, VT; Terry (Scott) Moseley, of Buskirk, NY; Colleen (Jerry) Mayer, of Shaftsbury, VT; Daniel (Jo-Ann) Cummings, of Mechanicville, NY; and Jennifer (Mark) Pipino, of Mechanicville, NY., as well as her many nieces, nephews and cousins, each of whom held a very special place in her heart. She is also survived by her partner, Michael O'Brien of Bennington, VT, who was by her side, offering support and comfort through her final moments. In addition to her parents, Patricia is predeceased by her very beloved nephew, Jerry Mayer II, with whom she shared a special bond. In honoring Patricia’s wishes, there will be no formal services. The family asks that you remember her in your own meaningful way, perhaps by reflecting on a dear memory or by carrying forward a kindness in her spirit. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to a charity of your choice.
