Patricia E. Bentley, 80, a former resident of Bennington, VT passed away Thursday June 29, 2017 in Troup, Texas following a brief illness.

She was born in Cambridge, New York March 12, 1937.

Mrs. Bentley, "Butterfly Lady" is survived by her children, Darlene Palmer and Cindy Marcoux of Troup, Texas and Darwin Bentley Jr., April Robie and her family, David Robie Jr. and Alexus Robie all of Bennington, VT. As well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
She was pre-deceased by her husband of more than 60 years Darwin Z. Bentley Sr and two sons Grant Bentley Sr. and Scott Bentley Sr.

Arrangements were under the direction of the Cottle Funeral Home, Troup, Texas.
