Patricia L Becker

Patricia L. Becker, 89, longtime resident of Bennington, Vermont passed away on April 8, 2025.

Patricia was born in Bennington, Vermont on October 2, 1935. She was the daughter of the late Glenn and Esther (Winslow) Lane. Patricia received her primary education in Shaftsbury, Vermont and was a 1954 graduate of North Bennington High School. She would go on to marry Ralph W. Becker Sr. on July 2, 1955.

For 27 years, Patricia was employed at the Union Carbide Corporation from which she retired in 1994. She enjoyed art, drawing, and shopping. Her family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were her main interest.

Patricia is survived by her five sons: Ralph Becker Jr. (Sheila), Barry Becker, Kurtis Becker (Beth), Jeffrey Becker (Anna), and Eric Becker (Christine). Seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Robert Lane (Nelma), and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Patricia is predeceased by her husband, Ralph Becker Sr., her parents, and her brother Adrian Lane and his wife Maryellen.

A time for visitation will be held on April 18, 2025 from 10:00-12:00 PM at the Mahar Funeral Home located in Bennington, Vermont with a memorial service to follow. The burial for Patricia will follow the memorial service at Waite Cemetery located in Shaftsbury, Vermont.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Patricia can be made to the VNA & Hospice of the Southwest Region through the office of Mahar Funeral Home located at 628 Main Street, Bennington, Vermont 05201.
