BENNINGTON, VERMONT
Leslie J. Grant, age 39, a resident of North Branch Street, Bennington, died on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 in Albany, New York.
He was born in Bennington on May 2, 1978 and was the son of the late Fredrick Grant, Sr. and Wanda Willoughby who survives. He received his education in local schools and was a graduate of Mt. Anthony Union High School.
He was an avid New York Yankees, and Dallas Cowboys fan, he enjoyed watching television, and spending time with his family. Leslie enjoyed riding in the tractor trailer with his brother, Fredrick, around the region.
Survivors besides his mother and brother, include two nephews; Gavin Grant and Justin Plantier, and his niece Ashlynn Grant. He leaves his close cousin, Ed "Chubby" Sweet and his wife Tina of Bennington.
Friends may come by the Mahar and Son Funeral Home, 628 Main St. Bennington on Sunday, March 11, from 1:00PM until 2:30PM.
A memorial service will be held at 2:30PM.
Interment will take place privately by his family.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
