Nancy L. Ruggles

April 15, 1945 — April 11, 2019

Nancy L. Ruggles, 73, a former resident Cambridge, NY and more recently of Bennington died Thursday April 11, 2019 at the Crescent Manor Care Center in Bennington following a long illness.

She was born in Cambridge, NY April 15, 1945. She was the daughter of the late Henry Clayton Young and Bessie Leola (Gates) Young. Nancy received her education in Cambridge, NY.

In earlier years Nancy had been employed in the housekeeping department at the Gideon Putnam in Saratoga, NY.

Survivors include her children, Franklin James Ruggles Jr of New York, Brenda Ruggles of Pownal, VT, Belinda Lou Ruggles of Hoosick Falls, NY and Frank Frederick Ruggles of Hoosick Falls. Fifteen grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Two sisters, Mary and Carol and three brothers, Danny Albert and Richard Young. Along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was pre-deceased by a brother Clayton Young.

A celebration of Nancy's life will take place at the Crescent Manor Care Center on Tuesday April 30, 2019 at 11:00 a.m.

The burial will take place in the family lot at the Island Hill Cemetery in Buskirk, NY at the convenience of the family.
